2010-06-04, Marseille & Evry, France. The Committee for Charity and Support for the Palestinians, a French NGO, filed a complaint against Israel in two French courts. The complaint arises from a recent hijacking by Israeli commandos of a peaceful flotillia that was trying to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza. The complaint alleges kidnapping, false imprisonment, armed violence and ship hijacking. Liliane Glock, who represents the NGO, stated that French courts would have jurisdiction to deal with the complaint since the victims were French nationals.
